Compact Multi-Effects vs. Full Floorboards
Compact saves floor and luggage space; full-size saves foot choreography and external accessories.

A compact unit may use press-and-hold, double-tap and combined-switch gestures. A floorboard can expose scenes, effects, tap and tuner at once. Rehearse the exact transitions and allow room for shoes, dark stages and singing while switching.
Compare native connections
Count balanced outputs, send and return loops, expression inputs, MIDI ports, headphone output and USB functions. Adding adapters and controllers to a compact unit can erase its size and cost advantage.
Choose the travel burden you prefer
Compare the packed system, including power supply, case and controllers. A larger integrated floorboard may be faster to deploy, while a compact processor can fit on an existing board and serve as a portable backup.
